Bug#1123978: doxygen: Please make jquery use optional
Source: doxygen
Version: 1.15.0+ds1-1
Severity: important

Hello,
doxygen currently only builds on a handful of architectures due to its build dependency
on "uglifyjs" which has a transitive runtime dependency on nodejs [1].
Since the doxygen package is widely used by many other packages, it should not limit
it's buildability due to the use of jquery and it's transitive dependency on nodejs.
It seems that doxygen itself builds fine without jquery, so I'm not 100% sure what it's
for.
Can you elaborate on this? If it's necessary, can it be moved to the arch-all package?
Thanks,
Adrian
