No, it does not. But without proper verification, the fix might be incomplete.
Changes to drivers should always entail verification on real hardware to make sure the fix is actually
a fix and not just a shot in the dark.

Sure. Please use the issue tracker whenever you find something. And feel free to help with finding useful
patches in Oracle's UEK kernel for SPARC (see my other mail).
