Both systemd and udev have been observed to trigger backtraces in my tests as well along with other
applications such as sshd and apt, see:

The point is that we have already discovered a bug that affects almost all SPARC variants and we
know it's causing these crashes. This is why I was asking you to test this patch as I'm 99% sure
it will fix those crashes.

You can just cross-compile the kernel from x86_64 using the kernel toolchain:

The systemd discussion has already been held ad nauseam which is why I would like to avoid the
discussion on this list. If someone doesn't want to use systemd, they're free to do so. But
please let's not have that flame war here.
