The cdrom drive is not where it should be (it should be slave on the first bus).
Thus the devalias for "cdrom" is wrong.

OP, move the cdrom to the correct bus, as described in the manual.

Please reference sections 6.2.5 and 6.2.6

You might not think this matters on these machines, but it does.

If you want people to help you, you have to provide the boot messages from the serial
console. Anything else ends up in a guessing game.
