The first failure is https://jenkins.debian.net/job/rebootstrap_mipsel_gcc5_nobiarch_diffoscope/43/console. Thus we know that the failure is triggered by a change in glibc, but instead by some of its transitive Build-Depends. Comparing the first failure to one of the last successful builds https://jenkins.debian.net/job/rebootstrap_mips_gcc5_supported_diffoscope/41/console, I observe that the first failure was built with binutils 2.26-11 while the last success was built with binutils 2.26-10. Both were built with gcc-5 5.4.0-4. Thus it seems likely, that a change in binutils triggers this issue. Helmut
