Without the kernel fix the system just won't run stable.

The bug in binutils is not that dramatic: the default linker is bfd,
which works just fine.
Only builds of the programs that are explicitly configured to use the
gold linker are broken.
And I think udev is the only one which is necessary for the minimal install.
