Ok, SILO is installed successfully  - but that does not mean that 
configuration is ok (silo.conf).

Well, I don't know the V890. Obviously you have PCI Bus problems before the 
kernel crashes. Do you have any (unusual) extension boards in your PCI slots? 
What happens when you remove them?
