Sun Ultra 5 reboot

Hi!

I have a problem with my Sun Ultra 5 computer. Maybe someone can help me.
I'm unable to reboot my computer. poweroff works every time but not
reboot.

I can reboot just fine if I choose to enter in runlevel 1 at boot. But not
if I switch to init 3 from runlevel 1 or boot directly to runlevel 3. All
services are stopped, partitions are unmounted just fine.

Last 2 lines on the screen are:

[info] Will restart now
[ 537.600939] Restarting system.

When rebooting from runlevel 1, after the above 2 line, the computer is
restarted. But not if I reboot from runlevel 3.

I really cannot understand the difference.

Debian 5: reboot ok
Debian 6: reboot not ok
Debian 7: reboot not ok.

This was just an annoyoance until now. But now I really have to reboot the
computer from remote. So this problem has become a real issue for me.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Gabriel
