Unfortunately, I don't think that either yours or Yan's ctrace 
contains any useful information. I was hoping for a more complete 
ctrace, which would allow us to trace it into the kernel, but no such 
luck. I'm pretty sure that any kernel crash like that should log 
information about the location of the crash, but I'm not sure whether 
there is a way to display it. Perhaps, if you can start an installer 
shell, it is possible to modify syslog setting to increase verbosity, 
but I don't have more specific instructions.
