Free Sun equipment - come and get it!
Hi Folks,
We're getting rid of 3 Sun machines and having suffered the insult of the recycling company telling us that 'oh there'll be no charge to take them', I thought I'd ask here to see if any debian folks could use them first.
Up for grabs are:
1 x E3000 with Fibre channel disk array. 4 processors, 1 gig of memory. Previously booted, but shows errors on the console now, to do with interrupts. There's a wyse serial terminal you can have with it too.
1 x E450, 2x400mhz processors, 1.5 gig of memory.
1 x E450, 2x400mhz processors, 512 meg memory.
No disks with any of them, I'm afraid, as we have to have them destroyed. Bring a screwdriver with you though, and you can have the mounts from the ones that are currently there.
These are free to anyone that wants them, but must be collected from Edinburgh. (And none of them are light)
