For some reason yaird is used on your system to regenerate initrd, which
is currently broken due to http://bugs.debian.org/518315. Please try
using update-initramfs from initramfs-tools package (installing
initramfs tools, removing yaird and trying to reinstall the kernel
package should do the trick).
