installing etch on a Netra X1 (No Console Access)

Hi List,
I have a Netra X1 sitting around here.
Problem is I have no console cable for it (and I'm not skilled enough
to made one myself as per speifications, i tried 2 times and failed)
but I have acces to it via ssh. The box is running gentoo with a
2.6.16 kernel.
Can anyone help me or pint me to a something that will allow me to
install Debian etch on it?
