Load average when system is booting : 65 !

	Hello,

I have build a new 2.6.23.1 kernel to fix some trouble with 2.6.21.3. When I have rebooted my U2E (2*Uii@300, 2 GB), system says :

Waiting for /dev to be fully populated
Uniform CD-ROM driver Revision: 3.20
sr 0:0:6:0: Attached scsi CD-ROM sr0
sd 0:0:0:0: Attached scsi generic sg0 type 0
sd 0:0:1:0: Attached scsi generic sg1 type 0
sr 0:0:6:0: Attached scsi generic sg2 type 5
done(timeout)
Adding 3903664k swap on /dev/md0. Priority:-1 extents:1 across:3903664k
EXT3 FS on md1, internal journal
kjournald starting. Commit interval 5 seconds

This stage take two or three minutes, and load average reachs 65 ! I have restarted my 2.6.21.3, but with same result. This workstation runs a uptodate testing release. I don't understand my mistake. When this box is booted, it works fine.

My U60 boots without any trouble with a similar kernel and the same distribution.

	On the same box :

I don't understand why /dev/md1 is the only disk returned by df... Why /boot and rayleigh:/export/home do not appear ? Of course, I have verified that /boot and NFS disks are both accessible.

	Any idea ?

	Regards,

	JKB
