Free Pascal and Lazarus on SPARC
Just a note report that Free Pascal 2.2.0 was released a few days ago and that
it appears to fix problems in older versions (2.0.4 and 2.1.4) on Linux/SPARC.
Granted that there isn't a binary package for it yet, compilation requires the
intermediate step of using the distributed 2.0.0 to compile 2.0.4, this can
then compile 2.2.0.
Once 2.2.0 is compiled and installed it can be used to build the Lazarus GUI
IDE, which is a reasonable clone of Borland's Delphi.
