Pulling the video card or installing over serial console may help too. Of course, it could also be a completely separate issue. Note that installing from CD is known to be problematic in SunBlade systems. Netbooting works much more reliably. Sparc is a fringe architecture. That also means that people will often have to solve issues themselves, or at least do the work to narrow things down themselves. Cheers, FJP
