Re: System boot hanging at "Running local boot scripts (/etc/rc.local)
So I removed fetchmail but it still hangs at that point.
Any suggestions?
TIA

As the subject says my system hangs at this point. /etc/rc.local only has "exit 0" in it.
The entry before was "Starting mail retrieval agent: system-wide fetchmail not configured"
Sometime before this there was a ClamAv warning that the engine was outdated.
I can ssh into the machine, thankfully, but what can I do to stop it hanging at this point, please?
TIA
John
