problem with resolution on ultra 5
Hi,
I installed Debian Sarge on my ultra 5. It has ATI Technologies, Inc. 3D
Rage I/II 215GT [Mach64 GT] graphic card. Max resolution that I can set in
XF86Config-4 800x600. If I set any higher resolution Xserver will not start.
In log there is:
(!!) ATI(0): Virtual resolutions will be limited to 2047 kB
due to linear aperture size and/or placement of hardware cursor image area.
(II) ATI(0): Using Block 0 MMIO aperture at 0xE0008400.
(II) ATI(0): Using Block 1 MMIO aperture at 0xE0008000.
(II) ATI(0): MMIO write caching enabled.
(--) ATI(0): 2048 kB of SGRAM (1:1) detected (using 2047 kB).
(WW) ATI(0): Cannot shadow an accelerated frame buffer.
Anyone had this problem?
/cheers,
Zagi
