Silo, Lilo, Grub and a new kernel
Hi,
I have an Ultra 5 running Debian Etch on 2.4.18. It uses Silo as I've never been game to change it to Lilo or Grub on the basis 'if it aint broke, don't fix it!'
I've just compiled and installed a brand new kernel
2.6.16. (vmlinuz is still pointing at 2.4.18)
Q. How do I get Silo to offer me the choice of kernel on boot? (I don't want to be left hung out to dry if my new kernel has a panic)
TIA
John
