SunFire v240 & Debian - Getting Closer

Installing Debian on a SunFire v240. System freezes towards the end of the
kernel booting with this being the last message:

Failed to mount /selinux/: No such file or directory

Here's the full installation-report. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Comments/Problems: Previous installation attempts (over the last 6 months)
have always frozen at "Remapping the kernel. Done." I pulled down a daily
image today from the above-mentioned location. The Debian installer worked
this time, system rebooted, and this kernel actually boots. It looks like
it boots almost the entire way through the kernel. The last few messages
listed are:

Kjournald starting. Commit interval 5 seconds
EXT3-fs: mounted filesystem with ordered data mode.
Switching root .
Failed to mount /selinux/: No such file or directory (from here it hangs)
