Current release of Etch on SS20. CD problem.

Hi

I have just downloaded Etch, for my SS20.

Unfortunately when I get to the "scanning cd drives" bit, my CD drive
isn't detected, although Debian booted from it.

When I do lsmod, I get 'isofs'.  I'm not sure what else to do, as I
don't have a driver to install, as requested.

Can anyone help?
