and it sounds like exactly the same problem that I am having with an Ultra 60, a Type 5 keyboard and UK mappings.  Like the original message, my keyboard is fine in a non-X environment.  Do you know whether this is a known fault/ bug for the UK mapping, as well? Unfortunately, this problem is stopping me installing X on my Ultra 60, at the moment.

 

Any help would be appreciated.
