I tested both yaird and initramfs-tools on my Ultra10 (cmd64x IDE
controller) last weekend and both had minor problems that should be fixed
soon or maybe already.

yaird: http://bugs.debian.org/342904
initramfs-tools: http://bugs.debian.org/342925 (not sparc-specific issue)

I'm sure that testing on other sparc systems will be appreciated. There is
a lot of focus on development of both tools ATM and excellent response,
both by DDs involved and upstream authors.

Cheers,
FJP
