Serial mouse on a Sparc Ultra

Hi,

I am trying to attach a stock PC serial mouse to the TTY A port of my Ultra
60 (using a 9-to-25 adaptor). Under gpm and X, the mouse cursor gets updated
only twice a second, which means the cursor is jumping over the screen. I've
tried with two different brands, but the same behaviour. On a Windows
machine, the mice work fine.

Has anyone solved this problem?
