kernel oops / crash [was Re: Auto reboot after a poweroutage]

I was attempting to reply to this, to mention that this could likely be
changed from within Linux, with openpromfs. However, when I tried to
change /proc/openprom/options/auto-boot?, I received the following oops'
(this happened twice):

This is an E450 (two processors at the moment) running
kernel-image-2.4.27-1-sparc64-smp. Any ideas on what to look at?

While I like the little green guy from HHGttG (Don't Panic), I'm not at
all certain that I like him appearing on my server's console - twice. :)

Thanks.
