hmm
i first partition both disks like this:
one partiton for root
one for swap
one for misc
then i install Linux first in the misc partition.
after new kernel works, i initialize the RAID
copy everyting over.
then you can boot from both via OBP.
i used this page to help me:

however. _my_ problem is that SILO still uses my silo.conf from my misc
partition, and NOT the one in the RAID.
can someone help me to make SILO use the right silo.conf when it boots?
