trouble booting Tadpole SparcLE laptop

Hi, I have a Tadpole SparcLE with a UltraSPARC IIIi processor running at
1GHz, and I'm not able to boot using the stable Debian CDs, the current
sarge images, or the netboot equivalents for both of these. Using the
woody CDs and tftp images, the last message I see is "Loading initial
ramdisk...", and the system then reboots and takes me back to the openprom
prompt. Using sarge, I get the following message after "Booting
Linux..." :

PCI: Bogus PROM assignment. BUS[00] DEVFN[18]
PCI: phys[82001810:00000000:00102000] size[00000000:00002000]
PCI: RES[0000000000200000-->000000000020ffff:(204)]
Please email this information to davem@redhat.com

Is it possible to run Debian on this machine? I don't currently have
access to another sun4u machine, so I haven't been able to compile and try
2.6 kernels to see if they produce the same error.

Any information would be appreciated.
