Using ReiserFS on raid1 devices (except /boot) advise anyone ??

I am setting up a small ULTRA 10 server.

I would like to use reiser fs on the raid1 devices (two identical disk on different channel).

I gather that SILO can only deal with ext3, so I will keep the /boot partition ext3. But, is it OK/Safe to use reiserFS on the other partitions?

The setup right now is kind of default base nothing special. Dist-upgraded to testing on a spare partition and I am going to move the base setup to the raid1 partitions. (I have done this so before).

The only question is whether it is a good idea to go with reiser.

Currently I am running 2.4.x series (.27) but would like to upgrade 2.6.x when it is stabilized. I am not sure if anymore details needed to help me on this.

Thanks.
