Propable bug-report - package SAMBA
Dear listmembers,
Release: debian - sparc - sarge
System: U60 SMP / 360
Problem:
upgrading to the latest samba - release 3.0.6-3 yields problems. Mounting remote directories from M$ (Win 2000) on the SPARC is ok, accessing files is impossible - takes a long time, gives junk at the beginning of the file (when reading with i. e. emacs)
Solution: (current)
downgrading back to 3.0.4 - problem solved.
Same smb.conf file.
Any hints? Should I file a bug-report? Anyone knowing about this?
