You cannot have a /boot partition over 2 gigabytes?
Umm... I just have one big partition. (Yes, I know, I know, but this is
just for a personal box for screwing around with.) And it's nearly 18GB.
Could that be the problem?

As for the size limit-- I've heard about this in the past... but what is
it? And will the kernel warn me if I exceed its limits?
