mandb seg fault
I've been getting the following daily, any idea how to start debugging it?
Subject: Cron <root@sparc> test -e /usr/sbin/anacron ||
run-parts --report /etc/cron.daily
Date: Wed, 26 Mar 2003 06:25:58 +0000
/etc/cron.daily/man-db:
/etc/cron.daily/man-db: line 22: 13010 Segmentation fault
start-stop-daemon --start --pidfile /dev/null --startas
/usr/lib/man-db/mandb -- oknodo --chuid man -- --no-purge >/dev/null
2>/dev/null
run-parts: /etc/cron.daily/man-db exited with return code 139
If I run mandb at a root prompt I get:
Purging old database entries in /usr/share/man...
mandb: can't update index cache /var/cache/man/index.bt: No such file or
directory
Processing manual pages under /usr/share/man...
fopen: No such file or directory
Segmentation fault
SPARCstation 5 running woody
TIA
