Woody 3.0r1 on Sun Blade 100 results in 'Fast Data Access MMU Miss'
Hello Outthere,
I try to install Woody 3.0r1 Sparc Edition on my Sun Blade 100 from CD-Rom
(I downloaded and burned the images).
I did a 'boot cdrom' at the 'ok'-Prompt and pressed enter at the
'boot:'-Prompt. After that my system printed: 'Loading initial ramdisk....'
and than I got the 'Fast Data Access MMU Miss'-Error. This failure is
mentioned in several postings and almost all recommend to upgrade the
OpenBoot Rom to the latest version. Now I run OpenBoot 4.6 Release 9 (the
latested available today) without effect. Another solution that often
appears is to use the 'limit-ecache-size' command. But my OBP doesn't
recognize that command.
I hope some of you has a solution.
Greetings,
Dominik
