Re: boot net

Can you use RARP to assign a machine an address on a different network than the RARP server? I don't think so.

Hi,

I have some problem to boot ss10. I set my boot server (Debian woody)
running rarpd. I edit my /etc/ethers
08:00:20:1d:a2:e5 10.0.2.18
When I ifconfig, I get
eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:D0:B7:BF:06:54
         inet addr:140.250.71.82 Bcast:140.250.71.255
What's wrong with my Debian server setting? Thansk!
