Problem with recv(), affecting syslogd
Hi,
On a sparc64 box, running a recent 2.4 kernel, recv() randomly returns
very high values. This has caused a segfault in syslog (See Bug
#149659 for details).
Has anyone an idea what might be the cause of this?
It does not happen with 2.2.20, but it happens with the 2.4.18 package,
2.4.18 built with gcc-3.0 form the 2.4.18 package source and
2.4.19-pre10 build with gcc-3.0.
