Partition's Modification

Hi guys,
I've got a Sun Ultra 1 running Woody:
- HD SCSI 2 GB
- 64 MB RAM
- External CD-ROM SCSI
- No Floppy
When I installed this system I created only 2 partitions,
/ (sda1) and swap (sda2). In adition, I mistyped the size
of the swap partition: 200MB -> 20MB.
So, now I would like to know if there is a way to resize
the partitions to fill my needs...
I think parted, http://www.gnu.org/software/parted/, can
do the job, but the partitions must first be unmounted
to it work...
This is my plan: disable swap partition (20MB), convert
it to ext2, copy the base system and parted to it, boot
from sda2, run parted, resize the partitions to new sizes:
1980MB->1800MB, 20MB->200MB and finally convert sda2 back
to swap and enable it? May this crazy works? :-)
There is a better way to do this? How can I make and burn
a custom CD, containing the parted and the base system?
Thanks!
PS: Sorry my poor English... :-(
