That's weird. It means your linux kernel boots fine but then for some reason
can't access the cdrom drive to mount it's root filesystem from.
It might be worth checking wether the kernel debian uses contains support for
SCSI cdroms - it 'd be weird if it didn't but I don't see anything else.
If it doesn't, you can burn you own cd image on another computer with a
selfcompiled kernel, based on debians config but with scsi and scsi cdrom
support. You can off course also try to find a floppy drive and copy the kernel
image onto that one, installing a boot loader on the floppy (grub?).

I recently installed debian on an ss2@76,5 MHz 64 ram, only scsi disks
(hmmm...)
