Where did you get the kernel from and what did you compile it with
(compiler, binutils, modutils)? The late 2.4 kernels (17, 18-pre) look
pretty good here on sun4m. Ben is right that sparc patches are expected to
appear on vger cvs earlier than the mainstream kernel.
