Re: Killed my SPARC5?



 Most likely the contents of the nvram got mangled, but to be on
the safe side, start with checking that your keyboard is plugged
in correctly. (That the leds light and so on). If it isn't,
sun's per default switch to using ttya (or ttyS0 in linuxspeak)
for input/output, and shuts down the display hardware.

Provided the keyboard works, try pressing Stop-N (That is, the
stop key and the N key simultaneusly). It should reset it to
default values. There is a nvram faq at
http://www.squirrel.com/sun-nvram-hostid.faq.html which might be
of help if it still doesn't work...
