Robert Leslie's MAD 0.14.2b is now installed under Debian 2.2.19 on an old Sparc 2 4/75. The command "madplay -m *.mp3" gives this message. output: ioctl(SNDCTL_DSP_SETFMT): Invalid argument I'm baffled.
