Dear Mr. Ben and folks:

I know I've practically beat a dead horse and resurrected it to beat 
it some more, but I had to post again to share my successful results 
:^)).

I purchased four DIMMs for my Ultra2 (minimum configuration) and I no 
longer have correctable memory errors--ones that would sometimes 
flood my console so I couldn't do any work.  I was very happy with 
the in-box Sun retail product (X7003A) from MemoryX 
http://www.memoryx.net  I'm going to try to narrow down which DIMM it 
was by process of elimination.  I hope this helps those out there 
with this annoying and difficult to pinpoint error.
