Yes, I think it must be this last part that I am not getting. I'm still
thinking in Intel disk terms.

Could you please spell it out for me. How do I want to lay out the disk?

Its strange, I do have Mandrake 7.1 running on another disk (out of the
machine at this time) but I do not remember handling the disk
partitioning differently than I would on an Intel box.

Do I need to 'reconstruct' the disklable that I undoubtedly destroyed by
making my first partition start at 0?  I will not be using any other OS
on this box. John T
