Bug#98755: NFS mount induces kernel panic on Debian/Sparc (on both stable and unstable) (fwd)

Hi,

I'm the maintainer of mount. I got this bug report but I have no idea what
could have caused this problem. Does anyone have an idea?

TIA
Adrian

Subject: Bug#98755: NFS mount induces kernel panic on Debian/Sparc (on both
    stable and unstable)

package: mount
version: 2.11b-6
kernel: 2.2.19

I was able to produce this error condition on both stable
and unstable (both of these were installed today) running on
an Ultra 1. I've made no modifications or customisations
(beyond those prompted by package installation procedures)
in either case. Also, donar is a netapp box.

morpheus:/# mount donar:/home /home
Unsupported unaligned load/store trap for kernel at <00000000004f91ec>
Kernel panic: Wheee. Kernel does fpu/atomic unaligned load/store.

morpheus:~# uname -a
Linux morpheus 2.2.19 #1 Mon Apr 2 14:21:55 EDT 2001 sparc64 unknown

morpheus:~# dpkg -l mount
<cut>
ii mount 2.11b-6

Please let me know if there is any further information that
I can provide you to help resolve this problem.

Best Regards,
Roman

PS: Thanks for a really kickass distribution!
