Re: mkfontdir seg faults

Hi,

I compiled X under potato from xfree86_4.0.2.orig.tar.gz:
and used freetype_2.0.1.orig.tar.gz and had from potato:

ii freetype2 1.3.1-1 The FREE TrueType Font Engine, shared librar
ii freetype2-dev 1.3.1-1 FreeType development files (static library a

gcc --version 2.95.2

Hope this helps.

Gabor
PS.
There were some bugs in the depends of xfree86. Look at my earlier
mails at this list about xserver or xfree86.
PPS.
Compiling took about two hours at Ultra 10.

I tried that on my Ultra1, but it failed on Freetype.h. There were
several parse errors it didn't like.
If anyone gets to compile X successfully, please tell me which version
of X and freetype? Or is it the compiler that's just coughing?

	Thanks for help,

	Janine
