Seting up the routing tables.

Hello,

I'm trying to set up my routing tables. My PC is my gateway. I was
looking for /etc/route.conf or /etc/init.d/route but didn't find any. I
tried linuxconf, but the changes don't reflect when i restart the
machine.

Is it possible that I'm missing some package?
