kernel boot failures
Here is an error ? log of the one kernel I have that boots and an
explaination of what doesn't happen on ALL the other kernels I have
compiled and images I have tried,
Feb 27 19:59:43 mole kernel: Floppy drive(s): fd0 is 1.44M

Feb 27 19:59:43 mole kernel: ESP: Total of 1 ESP hosts found, 1 actually
in use.
Feb 27 19:59:43 mole kernel: scsi0 : Sparc ESP100A (NCR53C90A)
Feb 27 19:59:43 mole kernel: scsi : 1 host.
up this point all kernels have been the same..... the kernel that boots
shows the following........
I can not capture an error message when the machine fails to boot So I
will just say that at this point
the NON booting kernels return and error repeatedly as long as I can
stand to watch
this is the error: esp0: Warning Live target 0 not responding
and this is what a good kernel returns ie: it looks to target 1 not 0
