I had this problem booting from resc1440-2.2.1.bin on sun IPC. But it depends on how I call boot coomand from prom, ie if I reset then boot fd() thing works fine. But If  I mess up with some prom command ie try to boot from cd rom, hd then stop then bot fd(), rescue floppy won't be ejected.
