2.2.0 kernel

I was probe to compile 2.2.0(pre7-ac7) kernel to SparcStation20 .

The modules and kernel is compiled excellent, but the end of compiling
thiz message was received:

fs/filesystems.a(proc.o): In function `mem_read':
proc.o(.text+0x1e48): undefined reference to `pte_read'
proc.o(.text+0x1e48): relocation truncated to fit: R_SPARC_WDISP30 pte_read

I could probe to search a problem solution, but I not found it.
please help
