Re: Bug#26199: kernel-package: build kernel-image fail on SPARC
Hi,
This is the first report I have had about problems on the
sparc. I do not have a sparc to test this, so I have to rely on
people using kernel-package on sparcs to let me know what ther right
thing is.
I note that there does appear to be a arch/sparc/boot/
directory. It seems strange that though the directory exists, the
vmlinux/z file is not there, as it is for other architectures. Is
there anything like vmlinux/z in arch/sparc/boot/?
I can easily change where the file is copied from for sparcs,
I just want to know if that is the right thing to do.
Thanks for your report,
manoj
