Don't ya love talking to yourself....
After actually turning my brain on for half a minute I worked out
what I'd missed on this. However, I sad to say that the Debian
sparc installation process is fundamentally broken. (Stephen goes off
into hyperbole....)
Basic problem is the lack of support for msdos f/s in the 2.0.29
kernel as it appears in .../disks-sparc. This support is necessary
as the dinstall process wants to fake mounting [rd]*1440.bin
as floppy devices though a f/s loop-back. What exactly do the resue
& driver disks contain & can I fake them some other way?
