Problem compiling with glibc

Hi all,

I have installed libc6-dev (thanks Eric) in order
to start compiling and building debian sparc packages.

I have also patched my gcc specs (again thanks Eric)

but gcc still claims that it is not able to create
an executable; what kind of problem could be?

(I think it is something related to crt*)

thanks

bye

PS> does someone know why sparc-linux is not supported by GNU?
none of the configure script of the GNU programs accept
sparc-linux as supported arch
just curious...
