Hi,

I've only spotted this yesterday while starting the D-I Bookworm Alpha 2
release preparations: there are many missing dinstalls. For context, I'm
usually taking the timestamp of the current dinstall at the time the
installation images are being built, which coupled with the udeb freeze,
gives me a Sources file that I diff against the previous release to
capture most changes affecting the installer:
  https://salsa.debian.org/installer-team/d-i/-/blob/master/scripts/prepare-release-announce#L67-93

While we've been accustomed to seeing 4 dinstalls every day getting
archived, many dinstalls are missing nowadays:
  http://snapshot.debian.org/archive/debian/?year=2023&month=2

currently lists 17 timestamps, instead of (if dinstall indeed ran 4
times a day for all of February) 4×18+2 = 74 occurrences.

January 2023 look better, listing 94 timestamps for 124 possible
dinstalls.

Note sure if/how this relates to #1029744 about debian-ports (0 in
January, 1 in February).

Cheers,

Yes, it's the same thing; not much we can do about it at the moment.
